　　Witness protection is often glamorised as keeping innocent witnesses safe from harm but the truth is darker, murkier, and far more complex. Many protected people are themselves criminals. 　　Based on the first-hand experiences of a long serving witness protection officer, Protection is about what happens when the system breaks down. 　　With a deft narrative that engages from the outset, Kris Mrksa creates suspenseful twists and with every hairpin turn perfectly navigates the story to ensure the audience won’t know who to believe and who is telling the truth.

　　A con-man who meets and marries rich old widows through a dating service, then murders them and takes the inheritance, finally gets the date of his dreams - the very worst of them.

　　NBC过去拿下电影《绝地战警2 Bad Boys II》角色Sydney “Syd” Burnett的个人衍生剧试映集《洛城战警 L.A.’s Finest》，但该项目最终没被预订。但是经过制片公司Sony jijidy.com Pictures电视部门的销售后，《洛城战警》以13集首季被有线台Spectrum收归旗下，预定美国时间5月13日首播。
　　在《绝地战警2》中饰演Syd一角的演员是Gabrielle Union，剧集版将由她继续演出。她是Marcus Burnett（Martin Lawrence饰）的妹妹，亦是美国缉毒局的卧底探员。另外在片中，Sydney与Mike Lowrey（Will Smith饰）是情侣。
　　《洛城战警》里Syd成了洛杉矶警局的警探，原本可以扔下过去，享受生活的她却可能因为新拍档Nancy McKenna而令事情变得复杂。在2000-02年主演过《末世黑天使 Dark Angel》的Jessica Alba将饰演Nancy McKenna，Nancy高中后参加了陆军，在伊拉克及阿富汗待了10年之久；回国后她当上了警探，与丈夫一同抚养两个前青少年期的继子。
　　其他角色包括Ben Walker﹑Ben Baines（Zack Gilford及Duane Martin饰演，下同）﹑Patrick McKenna（Ryan McPartlin）﹑Isabel “Izzy” McKenna（Sophie Reynolds）及Joseph Vaughn（Ernie Hudson）。

　　《非常病患》是部别具一格、鼓舞人心的新剧集，故事主角是患有轻度脑瘫的男同性恋莱恩，他决定改写自我身份，并最终追求自己向往的生活。经过多年没有前途的实习，穿着睡衣当博主并主要通过文字进行交流，莱恩最终找到改变凄凉，迎来光芒的出路，开始磕磕绊绊长大成人。这部标新立异的喜剧改编自剧集创剧人兼主演的莱恩·欧康纳的半自传书籍《我很特别：以及我们告诉自己的其他谎言》（I’m Special: And Other Lies We Tell Ourselves）。欧康纳将与吉姆·帕森斯共同担任监制。
